Spring Ball
Wow! - what a night!
“A Night at the Oscars” was the theme; and the whole evening had a film and glitzy feel to it…
At the St. John’s Hotel, the attention to detail was incredible - there were life size cutouts of film and television stars around the ballroom and bar, with winning bids in a silent auction letting guests take their favourites home with them…
A raffle and auction raised huge amounts of money for the Friends, and entertainment from an Abba tribute band rounded the evening off as the party continued late into the night.
There was even a large ice sculpture of a film camera that doubled as a ‘vodka luge’ for those brave enough!
